Now inspite of all this if ur explorer doesn't update the icon then u'll have to clear the icon cache manually. How to do tht would depend on which OS ur running on. If XP then all u need to do is delete the IconCache.db file from your profile directory (usually /Documents and Settings/Username/Local Settings/Application Data) it will be automatically recreated whn u restart the pc. You might need to show hidden files in windows explorer. If vista u still need to delete the IconCache.db file from your profile directory (usually: Users Username AppData Local).
